Personal identifiers are not posted in the public Case Lookup view. Social Security numbers and address information are excluded, and protected identifiers may be redacted under New Mexico law. A sealed or restricted item may show only a marker or may not be visible to the public at all.
Sandoval Charges vs Convictions
A charge is an accusation filed into the criminal case. A conviction is the result of a guilty plea, no contest plea accepted as guilt where applicable, or a finding of guilt after trial. Access to Sandoval Criminal Records
New Mexico's Inspection of Public Records Act gives every person the right to inspect public records unless an exception or another law makes the record confidential. Sandoval Sealed and Expunged Records
Sealed and expunged are not the same result. A sealed record is hidden from public view by law or court order, but it may still exist for limited court or agency use. Expungement under the Criminal Record Expungement Act removes eligible arrest or conviction records from public access after a court order. It does not erase federal or tribal records, and it does not bypass records that are outside the order's scope.

Sandoval Criminal Prosecution Records
The Thirteenth Judicial District Attorney prosecutes criminal cases for Cibola, Sandoval, and Valencia Counties. The Sandoval office is at 711 Camino Del Pueblo in Bernalillo, with the main district office mailing address at P.O. Box 1750. The District Attorney screens and prosecutes criminal charges, but the public court record is still kept by the court. Prosecutor filings may appear as events, charging documents, amended charges, dismissals, plea agreements, or sentencing materials.
The District Attorney's Sandoval page also lists partner law-enforcement agencies, including the Sandoval County Sheriff's Office, Rio Rancho Police Department, Bernalillo Police Department, Corrales Police Department, Cuba Police Department, New Mexico State Police, and several Pueblo or BIA police contacts. That matters because the arresting agency, booking record, prosecutor filing, and court case may all be distinct records.
When the prosecutor changes a charge, the court docket and charge summary should be checked for the current case status rather than relying on the first booking label.
Restricted Sandoval Criminal Records
Some Sandoval County criminal record material is not public. Juvenile criminal cases are not displayed in Case Lookup, and New Mexico law makes broad categories of records about a child confidential. Family Violence Protection Act order-of-protection cases are also not displayed in public Case Lookup. Mental health information, protected personal identifiers, sealed records, and records tied to protected victims or witnesses may be redacted or withheld.
Law-enforcement records have their own access rules. A police report, incident report, or jail record may be requested through the sheriff, detention center, county records portal, or the agency that created it, but those records are not the same as the court's criminal case file.
